About the Academy

The Entomological Science Academy (ESA) was established in 2022 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act 1860, with Registration No. 140-CSA of 2021, dated 22.02.2022. It is registered with NITI Aayog under the unique ID of VO/NGO-JK/2025/0559320. As the leading society in the field of entomology, ESA is committed to advancing the science of insects and serving as a hub for entomologists, researchers, and scholars from related disciplines. Our mission is to explore, understand, and foster the development of insect science, enriching society with critical knowledge about the ecological and economic significance of insects in our everyday lives.
At ESA, insect conservation is a cornerstone of our strategic initiatives, and we prioritize supporting both the study and practical applications of entomological science. Our key objective is to disseminate knowledge across various platforms, offering educational programs, community outreach, and services to institutions, the public, and stakeholders. Through these efforts, we aim to inspire a broader interest in entomology and cultivate future leaders in the field.
We hold our Annual General Meetings (AGM) regularly, providing opportunities for collaboration and updates. ESA’s membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 with a passion for entomology and related sciences, regardless of geographic location. Our diverse community includes research scholars, faculty members, retired professionals, and volunteers who contribute to the academy’s vibrant ecosystem.
Join us in supporting the growth of entomology—become a part of ESA today and help us drive the future of insect science.
