ESA Fellows
The Entomological Science Academy Fellow designation is the highest honour conferred by the Academy. Fellows are individuals of outstanding merit who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of entomology through research, conservation, education, or policy. Nominations for Fellowship should be based on a sustained body of work and leadership in the entomology community.
- Eligibility for Fellowship: Nominees must have at least ten years of impactful work in the field of entomology, with demonstrable contributions to research, conservation, or public policy.
Life Membership
The Life Membership of the Academy is an exclusive opportunity for those who wish to make a lasting commitment to the growth of entomology. Life members receive full access to all Academy events, publications, and opportunities for leadership within the Academy.
- Eligibility for Life Membership: Open to individuals who have been active in entomology for at least five years and wish to contribute to the ongoing success and development of the Academy.
- Benefits: Life Members are entitled to discounted fees for events, recognition in the Academy’s publications, and special invitations to exclusive member-only gatherings.
Eligibility
- Nominees for awards must have made significant contributions to entomology, with evidence of excellence in their respective fields.
- Both individuals and teams may be nominated.
- Self-nominations are allowed, but nominations must be accompanied by supporting letters or references.

Awards Presentation
The Entomological Science Awards 2025 will be presented at the Annual Entomological Science Conference in June 2025, where winners will have the opportunity to share their work with an international audience of entomologists, researchers, and students. Fellowship and Life Membership inductions will also take place during the ceremony.
